Pasmina Shawl

The goat sheds its winter coat every spring. One goat sheds approximately 3-6 ounces of the fibre. See also Cashmere wool To meet the demand, the goats are now commercially reared in the Gobi Desert area in Inner and Outer Mongolia. The region has identical harsh weather conditions to those of the Himalayan region, and is thereby apt for the goats to grow this inner wool, but also has acres of grazing ground to produce cashmere economically and commercially. During spring (the molting season) the goats shed this inner wool, which regrows in winter. The inner wool is collected and spun to produce cashmere. The quality of the cashmere produced in the Gobi Desert is just as high as that produced in the Himalayas, while the costs are less.
A softening process is used by manufacturers of 100% pashmina products, which gives the pashmina a soft, almost silken quality. Sometimes Pashmina is a blend of pure pashmina wool and silk. This gives strength and durability to the pashmina. As a general rule though, the higher content of pashmina wool, the more expensive the textile.

Sweaters

Thin sweaters may be worn tucked in to the waistband of trousers; but otherwise, men's sweaters are to be worn untucked. Nonetheless, some individuals, including some television and film actors, have been known for wearing sweaters with the waist tucked in
Sweaters are a versatile item of clothing, which can be worn on top of almost any outfit. Sports sweaters, especially hoodies, are often worn on tops of sports kit while travelling to or from a sports ground. Sweaters can be worn with a dress shirt underneath (and optionally a tie), which has the advantage of allowing the wearer to have the option of removing the sweater when it is uncomfortably warm and still look presentable in many situations with only the shirt. In the late 20th century the sweater increasingly came to be worn as an alternative to a shirt when finer materials made them more comfortable next to the skin.
Some women's sweaters are meant to be worn belted; sometimes, a belt or drawstring is knitted into the sweater itself.
In ice hockey, the uniforms that present day players wear are sometimes referred to as "sweaters" although they more resemble the jerseys worn in other sports. This is because original uniforms were simply sweaters with the team's logo stitched on the front. However, as technology changed, so did the uniforms as actual sweaters absorbed too much moisture and became weighed down and bulky throughout the course of a game.

Nepalese Handicraft

Nepalese handicraft history can be traced back to the stone age when human beings were inadequate of tools of any kind. The history of artistic handicrafts only began during the 5th Century A.D., when different religions began to form their bases among the people of Nepal. Hence we see a lot of religious influence on Nepalese handicrafts. Introduced by the Nordic Aryans, mixed with different groups of Mongolians, nurtured by Buddhist and Hindu concepts adapted the taste of market. The historical development of Nepalese handicraft industry is very old although has its rise and falls. According to the reference found in Kautilya's Economics about various productions and exports from Nepal, during the time of Chandra Gupta Mouriya, in fourth century, Nepal was known for quality rainproof woollen blankets. The blankets were made of eight pieces joined together of black colour known as "bhiringisi" as well as "apasaraka". Similarly the good quality blankets are mentioned in the epics of Jain religion "Brihatakalpasutra Vhashya". Various famous Chinese travellers like Wanghunshe and Huansang in 648 A.D. have appreciated Nepalese arts and crafts and the skills of Nepalese craftsmen and artisans in their travelogues.

Handicraft

Handicraft, also known as craft work or simply craft, is a type of work where useful and decorative devices are made completely by hand or using only simple tools. Usually the term is applied to traditional means of making goods. The individual artisanship of the items is a paramount criterion, such items often have cultural and/or religious significance. Items made by mass production or machines are not handicrafts.
Usually, what distinguishes the term handicraft from the frequently used category arts and crafts is a matter of intent: handicraft items are intended to be used, worn, etc, having a purpose beyond simple decoration. Handicrafts are generally considered more traditional work, created as a necessary part of daily life, while arts and crafts implies more of a hobby pursuit and a demonstration/perfection of a creative technique. In practical terms, the categories have a great deal of overlap.

Fashion in Nepal

Fashion for Nepal is a creative platform for Nepali diasporic youth to find and foster their talents. An opportune platform allowing the youth to showcase and hone their artistic abilities was much needed. Especially during the ANA conventions, the tradition of sports and cultural program were the only two outlets for the youth to express. In July 2008, Fashion for Nepal was born to fulfill this need.
Fashion for Nepal organized the first ANA Fashion Extravaganza during ANA convention in July 2008 at Baltimore. The show brought together many art enthusiasts from Nepal and different states in the US: models, actors, musicians, photographers, videographers, graphics artists, DJs, choreographers and event organizers. Creativity at Work! The motif was “A Week in a Nepali’s Life.” For the first time in North America’s history, the Nepali youth paraded Nepalipan through their taste in art, fashion and glamour. The show depicted that despite what we wear, we stay close to our core Nepali values. The first Mr. Vogue ANA 2008 and Ms. Vogue ANA 2008 were also proclaimed.
Fashion for Nepal continues to strive to bring together the energy and excitement of the creative youth. Currently, we are working towards ANA Fashion 2009. We are also considering prospects of organizing other similar programs and events

Hairstyle

Hair cutting or hair trimming often involves creating and maintaining a specific shape and form. Haircuts can be used to define a hemline along the ends and edges of longer hair. Hair cutting may include shaving the head. In some settings, hair cutting, creating forms and shapes are an expressive art form. Hair cutting often involves considerations of body proportions, hair density and hair type, face and head shape from all views (profile, 3/4 and 360 degree, from above and from below), overall bone structure, and pattern of how hair lies or falls. Hair shape and length are often derived from concerns regarding personal expression and aesthetics (examples: dreadlocks, punk hair, the business haircut/style, very long hair), religion (for example, Pentecostal faith among others), social and cultural values. Hair is often a physical expression of one's sense of self, of a desire to present oneself to and amongst a community, of social status and roles, and of cultural values. Such expression may involve adding ornaments to the hair, or partial or full hair coverings (such as a Kippa, Hijab, or a Turban).
Although trimming may beautify hair by removing damaged or split ends, cutting does not promote faster growth. Nor does trimming remove all damage throughout the hair. Damage can occur anywhere in any length of hair. Trimming at regular intervals is only necessary for maintaining formed shapes.
There exist ways to trim hair oneself as outlined in places on the internet and hair care reading materials.

Cosmetics

Cosmetics are substances used to enhance the appearance or odor of the human body. Cosmetics include skin-care creams, lotions, powders, perfumes, lipsticks, fingernail and toe nail polish, eye and facial makeup, permanent waves, colored contact lenses, hair colors, hair spraysand gels, deodorants, baby products, bath oils, bubble baths, bath salts, butters and many other types of products. Their use is widespread, especially among women in Western countries. A subset of cosmetics is called "make-up," which refers primarily to colored products intended to alter the user’s appearance. Many manufacturers distinguish between decorative cosmetics and care cosmetics.
The manufacture of cosmetics is currently dominated by a small number of multinational corporations that originated in the early 20th century, but the distribution and sale of cosmetics is spread among a wide range of different businesses. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) which regulates cosmetics in the United States defines cosmetics as: "intended to be applied to the human body for cleansing, beautifying, promoting attractiveness, or altering the appearance without affecting the body's structure or functions." This broad definition includes, as well, any material intended for use as a component of a cosmetic product. The FDA specifically excludes soap from this category.

Makeup For Men

Despite of the fact that men makeup history goes a long way back, there are people who still makeup wearing men freaks. Why would a normal man wear makeup? Actors, models, singers wear makeup so why can't a common man use makeup for the same reason they do: to expose their facial features or to hide some shortages. Is that really so unacceptable?
When you see a model on a catwalk, his face looks just perfect, facial features seem bright and you don't even consider that he could (and most definitely is) wearing makeup. Even if you do know that, there's absolutely no way you would consider him a weirdo because of simply being male and wearing makeup. That's the way it is - catwalk is a scene and he accordingly.
But when it comes to common men the ones that we meet every day, our friends, colleagues, would you care if you noticed one of them wearing makeup? Would you consider it normal, just as you consider women? You probably wouldn't.
Yet more and more men are using makeup. Not only ones who have do it because of their profession. Common men. Just like women, they want to be beautiful and that's nothing condemnable. There are men makeup lines and you can be sure you won't find anything like mascara or eye shadow there. It's mostly various creams and special powder, used only to hide some facial skin defects or make facial features brighter.

Winter Skin Care

Winter is more than chilly mornings, grey skies and comfort food - when the heater is cranked up skin dries out. A simple fact is in winter we tend to alternate our time between a ‘controlled’ environment that is artificially heated and in an ‘uncontrolled’ outdoor environment.
Switching between varying degrees of temperature can really give skin a good work out. Heaters and battling the elements – are just not good for the skin!
As much as it is comforting to be warm and cozy - skin just does not enjoy prolonged time spent in the de-humidified environment of heaters. It literally strips skin of its natural moisture. The lower the humidity, the faster moisture escapes from your skin.
About 60% humidity keeps skin in optimum condition anything lower than that it may become tight and dry. In an artificially heated environment humidity may be much lower than 60%. And since we live with heaters during winter, we tend to ‘suffer’ from dry skin.
So the solution to this seasonal condition is simple – weekly exfoliation and regular, daily moisturising to maintain the skin’s natural balance. A good moisturiser puts moisture back into the skin, but what’s more important is keeping it there!

Fashion- Hair Care

Hair care is an overall term for parts of hygiene and cosmetology involving the hair on the human head. Hair care will differ according to one's hair type and according to various processes that can be applied to hair. All hair is not the same; indeed, hair is a manifestation of human diversity.
In this article, 'Hair care' is taken to mean care of hair on the human head, but mention should be made of process and services which impact hair on other parts of the body. This includes men‘s and women’s facial, pubic, and other body hair, which may be dyed, trimmed, shaved, plucked, or otherwise removed with treatments such as waxing, sugaring, and threading. These services are offered in salons, barbers, and day spas, and products are available commercially for home use. Laser hair removal and electrolysis are also available, though these are provided (in the US) by licensed professionals in medical offices or speciality spas.

Care of the hair and care of the scalp skin may appear separate, but are actually intertwined because hair grows from beneath the skin. The living parts of hair (hair follicle, hair root, root sheath, and sebaceous gland) are beneath the skin, while the actual hair shaft which emerges (the cuticle which covers the cortex and medulla) has no living processes. Damage or changes made to the visible hair shaft cannot be repaired by a biological process, though much can be done to manage hair and ensure that the cuticle remains intact.
Scalp skin just as any other skin on the body, must be kept healthy to ensure a healthy body and healthy hair production. If the scalp is not cleaned regularly, by the removal of dead skin cells, toxins released through the skin or external hazards (such as bacteria, viruses, and chemicals) may create a breeding ground for infection. However, not all scalp disorders are a result of bacterial infections. Some arise inexplicably, and often only the symptoms can be treated for management of the condition (example: dandruff). There are also bacteria that can affect the hair itself. Head lice is probably the most common hair and scalp ailment world-wide. Head lice can be removed with great attention to detail, and studies show it is not necessarily associated with poor hygiene. (Indeed, even well-to-do households can experience head lice. More recent studies reveal that head lice actually thrive in clean hair.) In this way, hair washing as a term may be a bit misleading, as what is necessary in healthy hair production and maintenance is often simply cleaning the surface of the scalp skin, the way the skin all over the body requires cleaning for good hygiene.
The sebaceous glands in human skin produce sebum, which is composed primarily of fatty acids. Sebum acts to protect hair and skin, and can inhibit the growth of microorganisms on the skin. Sebum contributes to the skin’s slightly acidic natural pH somewhere between 5 and 6.8 on the pH spectrum. This oily substance gives hair moisture and shine as it travels naturally down the hair shaft, and serves as a protective substance preventing the hair from drying out or absorbing excessive amounts of external substances. Sebum is also distributed down the hair shaft “mechanically” by brushing and combing. When sebum is present in excess, the roots of the hair can appear oily, greasy, generally darker than normal, and the hair may stick together.

Fashion-The Eyebrow

The eyebrow is an area of thick, delicate hairs above the eye that follows the shape of the lower margin of the brow ridges. Their main function is to protect the eye, but they are also important to human communication and facial expression.[1] It is not uncommon for people to modify their eyebrows by means of hair addition or removal, make up, or piercings.

The main function of the eyebrow is to prevent moisture, mostly salty sweat and rain, from flowing into the eye. The typical curved shape of the eyebrow (with a slant on the side) and the direction in which eyebrow hairs are pointed, make sure that moisture has a tendency to flow sideways around the eyes, along the side of the head and along the nose. The slightly protruding brow ridges of modern humans could also still play a supporting role in this process.[citation needed] Together with the brow ridges, the eyebrows also shade the eyes from sunlight. Eyebrows also prevent debris such as dandruff and other small objects from falling into the eyes, as well as providing a more sensitive sense for detecting objects being near the eye, like small insects.

How to wear a Baggy Sweater

Step 1:
Don a loose-fitting sweater vest on top of a snug-fitting, leotard-style shirt. Put on a pair of black legging pants to complete this chic, yet trendy look. This style works well with a long sweater vest that loosely skims the hips and ends mid-thigh.
Step 2:
Create a perfect out-on-the-town outfit by pairing a baggy sweater vest with a classic white blouse and great-fitting jeans. Belted sweater vests that are slightly bloused and loose fitting look especially nice with this ensemble. Put on a pair of black heeled ankle boots and your look is complete.
Step 3:
Capitalize on the capri-style legging trend by wearing a baggy sweater vest over a baby-doll top and knee-length fitted capris. Top off this fun, flirty look with a pair of high-heeled cork sandals.
Step 4:
Create a multi-layered look that is great for casual Fridays at the office or a weekend lunch with the girls. Start out by wearing a close-fitting knit top underneath a printed button-down blouse. Add a loose and long sweater vest on top of those two layers, followed by a flowing scarf that hangs down on both sides of the sweater vest. Don a pair of casual khaki pants and your outfit is ready.
Step 5:
Pair a sleek, sophisticated sweater vest with a chic mini-dress. Add some black high-heeled knee boots to complete this stylish look.

The Truth about your hair

There are many misconceptions about hair and its care. Once one knows the truth, the solution for hair challenges becomes logical, not a hidden secret to be discovered.
The most widely held misconception concerning hair is that is alive, and, therefore, its condition can be 'permanently' altered by using some newly discovered commercial potion. The truth is that hair is only living matter at its base below the surface of the scalp. Like the tip of one's finger nail, hair is dead matter, and can be clipped shorter and discarded. This fact alone brings us to two important conclusions about how one may maintain stronger, healthier looking, shiny hair.
Conclusion #1:We must be concerned with preventative maintenance by creating a healthy environment below the surface of the scalp, where hair is germinated or born. Since hair in its basic form is 100% keratin (protein), our diets should consist of a good balance of easily digested protein, i.e. - dairy products, poultry and meat. For those of us who are vegans, good protein alternatives are nuts, beans and the old stand-by - peanut butter. I suspect that with the popular emergence of low-carbohydrate/high-protein diets, we in turn will begin to see more heads of hair with less frizzies and easily split ends.
Now, how do we ensure this quality protein gets to the living roots of our hair? Just as we stimulate quality muscle growth through exercising and bringing protein-laden blood to specific body parts, we can do the same for our hair. This is easily achieved by simply massaging your scalp, once a day, while you shampoo and condition your hair. You'll not only have cleaner and more thoroughly conditioned hair, but you will have stimulated protein-supplying blood to feed the germinating roots of your hair. Be careful to use only the pads of your fingers in small circular motions as you gently massage your scalp. Never use your fingernails for this purpose as you can cause abrasions to your scalp that could lead to infection and possible skin disorders.

Fashion Boutique in Nepal

The situation is at the worst level and the excuses are (a) lack of awareness. (b) people consider `Fashion' as designing western clothes (c) lack of media exposure and marketing resources and (d) Newcomers in the field without sheer determination.
An average Nepali won't goto Fashion boutiques because he/she believes that boutiques are expensive and that it is for one with a car. Cheap tailoring centers attracting thousands of customers are happy enough. Boutiques could start by educating the general public that you can provide rates for the quality given by the tailoring centers. Boutiques are solely to be blamed for doing nothing.
All boutiques in Kathmandu and also in other regions in Nepal, need to create a program to educate the general public that fashion itself is a science and Nepalese fashion designers spending most of their time designing Nepali fashionwears should be given a priority.

Discription of Blouses

Blouses were rarely part of the fashionable woman's wardrobe until the 1890s. Before that time, they were occasionally popular for informal wear in styles that echoed peasant or traditional clothing, such as the Garibaldi shirt of the 1860s.
During the later Victorian period, blouses became common for informal, practical wear. A simple blouse with a plain skirt was the standard dress for the newly expanded female (non-domestic) workforce of the 1890s, especially for those employed in office work. In the 1900s and 1910s, elaborate blouses, such as the "lingerie blouse" (so-called because they were heavily decorated with lace and embroidery in a style formerly restricted to underwear) and the "Gibson Girl blouse" with tucks and pleating, became immensely popular for daywear and even some informal evening wear. Since then, blouses have remained a wardrobe staple.
Blouses are often made of cotton or silk cloth and may or may not include a collar and sleeves. They are generally more tailored than simple knit tops, and may contain feminine details such as ruffles, a tie or a soft bow at the neck, or embroidered decorations.
Tailoring provides a closer fit to the wearer's shape. This is achieved with sewing of features such as princess seams or darting in the waist and/or bust.

Acrylic Nail

No one is likely to bite the nails with them being so expensive. It is plain to see why acrylic nails are so appealing. They have the power of making your hands look beautiful for some special occasion. They can actually make you feel what it is like to have long nails. Another important aspect to mention here is that in the overwhelming variety of acrylic nail forms and acrylic nail styles everyone is sure to pick what she likes best. Acrylic nail styles review lists the dazzling multiplicity of acrylic nail styles, which can't but appeal to you.
To cut the long story short, people who for this or that particular reason can't grow long nails, appreciate acrylic nail advantages and the possibility of choice among the great number of acrylic nail forms and acrylic nail styles.

Types of dress

Depending on design dresses are classified. Different basic dress shapes are:
Shirtwaist: a dress with a bodice (waist) like a tailored shirt and an attached straight or full skirt
Sheath: a fitted, often sleeveless dress, often without a waistseam

Shift: a straight dress with no waist shaping or seam (1960s)
Jumper dress: (American English) or Pinafore dress (British English) is a sleeveless dress intended to be worn over a layering top or blouse. Jumper dresses exist for both summer and winter wear.
Sundress: is an informal sleeveless dress of any shape in a lightweight fabric, for summer wear. Tent: a dress flared from above the bust, sometimes with a yoke (1960s, renewed popularity after 2005)
Maxi dress: a long, formfitting, floor or ankle length dress.
Wrap dress: a dress with a front closure formed by wrapping one side across the other and knotting the attached ties on the side, or fastening buttons. This forms a V-shaped neckline and hugs a woman's curves. A faux wrap dress resembles this design, except that it comes already fastened together with no opening in front, but instead is slipped on over the head. (1970s; renewed popularity from late 1990s)

Metal Finishes

For platinum, gold, and silver jewellery there are many techniques to create finishes. The most common are high-polish, satin/matte, brushed, and hammered. High-polished jewellery is by far the most common and gives the metal the highly-reflective and shiny look. Satin, or matte finish reduces the shine and reflection of the jewellery and is commonly used to accentuate gemstones such as diamonds. Brushed finishes give the jewellery a textured look, and are created by brushing a material (similar to sandpaper) against the metal, leaving 'brush strokes'. Hammered finishes are typically created by using a soft, rounded hammer and hammering the jewellery to give it a wavy texture.
Some jewellery is plated to give it a shiny, reflective look or to achieve a desired colour. Sterling silver jewellery may be plated with a thin layer of .999 fine silver (a process known as flashing) or may be plated with rhodium or gold. Base metal costume jewellery may also be plated with silver, gold, or rhodium for a more attractive finish.

Face Powder Tips (Fashion)

Use loose powder to set makeup and compact powder for easy touch-ups during the day or night. For excessively oily skin, use Translucent Ultra Matte Powder.
For warmer climates or in the summer, take special care to set your foundation with a loose powder, as heat tends to create slipping or running of your foundation. This is especially so in the case of cream foundation as they tend to have a higher oil content.
Set your foundations with a Sacha Cosmetics Loose Powder. Keep your compact powder handy for touch ups during the day. If you ’shine’ a lot you should use an oil absorbent powder such as Sacha’s Ultra Matte Powders in Light, Medium or Dark.
Dust a light layer of pressed powder over the face. A pressed powder with an SPF 15 that includes the UVA-protecting ingredients avobenzone, titanium dioxide, or zinc oxide is an excellent option to assure all day sun protection.
Too much color? Most makeup artists dust on a layer of loose powder or pressed powder to take off the edge.

Clothing

A feature of nearly all modern human societies is the wearing of clothing or clothes, a category encompassing a wide variety of materials that cover the body.
The primary purpose of clothing is functional, as a protection from the elements. Clothes also enhance safety during hazardous activities such as hunting and cooking by providing a barrier between the skin and the environment. Clothes incidentally also provide a hygienic barrier, keeping toxins away from the body and limiting the transmission of bacteria and viruses.
Clothes also have important social and cultural functions. A uniform, for example, may identify civil authority figures, such as police and army personnel, or it may identify team or group or even political affiliations. In most societies, clothing is an aspect of norms of the society, in relation to standards of modesty, religious practices and social status. Clothing may also function as a form of adornment and an expression of personal taste or style.
Throughout history, many materials have been used for clothes. Materials have ranged from leather and furs to weaved and woven materials, to elaborate and exotic natural and synthetic fabrics.
Articles carried rather than worn (such as purses, canes, and umbrellas) are normally considered fashion accessories rather than clothing, but hats and small dress sweaters can be called either clothing or accessories.[citation needed] Jewelry and eyeglasses are usually considered as accessories ,[citation needed] even though in common speech these particular items are described as being worn rather than carried.
Clothing probably originated in the neolithic age. Some recent scientific research estimates that humans have been wearing clothing for as long as 650,000 years.[1]

Winter Clothes

Cold weather is here (unless you live in Miami, you lucky stiff), and college campuses are cold places! College students need to walk around campus in the snow and wind, and need warm winter clothes to keep them cozy. Here are some suggestions for winter clothing for the college student's wardrobe. These are great ideas for gifts, including holiday gifts!
  • Warm socks. Cold feet make you feel awful, and cold wet feet make you feel even worse. Warm up your feet with a sturdy pair of warm socks. Avoid 100% wool socks; these are plenty warm, but itchy and not necessarily water resistant. Instead, invest in some quality wool blend socks. A good place to find warm socks is a sporting goods store. Hiking socks will do the trick.
  • Silk long underwear. This is the best for those transitions from the cold outside to the overheated classroom! Silk long underwear will keep you very warm, but it's light and won't make you sweat when you go inside. Silk long underwear can be kind of expensive, so this would make a great Christmas gift.
  • Warm fleece mittens. These really warm up your hands and fingers. For cold weather, it's always a good idea to buy mittens, not gloves. When you wear mittens, your fingers are pushed together, and this helps keep them warm. Fleece is great because it's soft and doesn't make you itch, so check out fleece hats, fleece scarves, and fleece pullovers as well.
  • Waterproof winter boots. An absolute must if you're walking around a snowy college campus. This isn't the time to show off your cute boots. You can find warm winter boots in sporting goods stores; check out Sorels.
  • Warm pajamas and slippers. An absolute must if you have a cold dorm room! Warm pajamas and slippers make great holiday gifts. Fleece and flannel are the classic warm pajama materials, but keep some good cotton pajamas on hand too for when it's less cold. For a childhood retro feel, get yourself some warm pajama sleepers with the feet sewn in.
  • A down winter coat or jacket. If you go to school in a very cold climate (like Minnesota, where I went to grad school), a down winter coat will make you a much happier person. Look for thinner down as it won't look as bulky and will be easier to hang up, but still will keep you warm.
  • Layers. Layers of clothes help keep you warm, especially layers of clothing made of different materials. Layers also are great for that transition from the cold outside to the overheated classroom, as you can add and subtract layers as needed. For quick layering, keep on hand some cotton turtlenecks and zip-up hoodies.
  • Sweaters made out of natural materials. These are more expensive than acrylic, but will keep you warmer and are great for layering. Stay away from pure wool, but wool blends are great. And of course, there's cashmere. Cashmere sweaters are hard to clean and expensive (so this is a great gift idea), but keep one nice cashmere sweater on hand for days when cozy warmth is a must.

Fashion- A new diamond ring

Have you recently promised your girlfriend or your wife a diamond ring and now just do not know what to do about it? Well do not lose your appetite for this, ages ago our brilliant fathers found a solution for this.It was in the year of 1892 that a substance was discovered, Cubic Zirconia , in the labs of one such scientist. At that time is was in the discovery state. They were yet trying to yield it completely and in a good state. With constant efforts, they were able to succeed largely and by the year of 1976, they were able to retrieve in a considerable state. With the level of development, Cubic Zirconia was soon being considered as a substitute of diamond in various scientific procedures and it was not long when it was considered for ornamental use as well. It was first amongst the scientists of USSR that it was first produced in a form to be used for commercial use and soon by the 1980; it was produced in huge amounts, around 50 million carats. The gem was called to be a better diamond, for though its refractive index was less than diamond, its prismatic fire was much higher than it was. It sparkled more than diamond and it was easier to get a‘d’ standard in Cubic Zirconia than in diamond. Diamond was always with some impurity but if you followed the correct process and used the prescribed ingredients, you were bound to get the best quality Cubic Zirconia, something even better than diamond in appearance. Hence, it was widely used in jewelry making and since then has been giving a tough competition to diamond. As already mentioned it is better than diamond in appearance, you can easily surprise your girlfriend by not only buying her a ring but also a pair of earrings to go with them at a much lesser price. They would be delighted even if you tell them that it is not their ‘coveted’ diamond!

Scarves-2009 Fall-Winter Fashion Scarves

The fall/winter seasons are coming and it is time for fashion scarves. As a beautiful accessory, scarves provide both warm-keeping and fashion functions. That is why women love scarves so much.
In the current market, there are not only traditional long shape scarves, but also thicker super long style and also elegant shawl style scarves. Each scarf has its own style and fashion feature. The most important part is that scarves add more lively and amusing to your winter fashion. You have no more scare for the boring winter days any more with the fashion scarves.
The long size scarves are always a favorite for European. They are happy to wear a warm scarf around their necks layer upon layer. Besides warmth, it can also bring you a childish interest. This kind of scarf looks beautiful if go with a sweater. However, fur coats or sweaters with complex patterns are not good choices for those scarves. If that, you look cumbersomely dressed.
The elegant shawl style scarves exhibit women femininity and elegance. Those scarves can be easily transformed with many patterns. You can either simply wear around your neck or just casually cross in the front. Both ways make you unique. Also, a unique pin could add more charming for you. Among the clothing you could pick, skirt dresses are absolutely perfect choices.
The slender long scarves are one of the most traditional style and also the easiest matching model. You can just randomly wrap around your neck and see how great you can be. From the matched dress, both light and deep colors work fabulously. There are tons of ways to wear slender long scarves. For example, a necktie knot is a great choice for scarf tying. It is the same as necktie tying. If you don't know how to do that, ask your husband or your male friends.
Another important scarf style is square scarves in the scarf family. By size, the square scarves can be divided into two classifications: small square scarves and big square scarves. The scarf materials cover a wide range including wool, cotton, polyester, silk, and more. The detailed classification also includes whether scarves have embellishment or whether they have tassels. It has many ways to wear your square scarves, such as head wear or down triangle. More and more people like square scarves and even men are very cool with square scarves.
After you find your favorite scarves, another question is how to wear scarves. Actually the answer could be infinite. How to wear your scarves depends on the following factors: your matched dress, occasion, scarf texture, scarf shape, and more. The appropriate way is to know the basic skill to tie scarves first, such as how to fold scarves and some basic knot guide. You can find the tying instruction online with a video or photo guide or articles. Pick an appropriate way for yourself and experiment until you have a perfect match. Remember, you are your own fashion host. Popularity is not always for everyone and you should find your own fashion choice. As long as it matches well, you will win compliments from your family and your friends.
There are no standard code for fashion scarves on how to select scarves and how to wear scarves. Just check out your favorite scarves and play with them. You will find a right way for yourself and show your fashion favor with your own feature.

American Fashion

The American fashion was, perhaps, the time period when clothing styles had the most drastic and significant changes in one year to the next. It started with "turn of the century" from 1890-1910. Then came the "roaring '20's," which were very 'free.' For instance, neither women nor the men wore corsettes or anything to make them look better. The "fabulous '40's" were a more serious time, because the Great Depression had just passed. The "rockin '50's" was a time when once again everyone was happy. The fifties were characterized by knit blouses and long skirts for the women. For the men, t-shirts and jeans were very popular: the James Dean look. After that came the "groovy 60's", when the clothing was very detailed and interesting. The "super '70's" were next. In this time everything became "in" or fashionable. During the "gross '80's," the main colors in this time were dull colors such as brown, or olive green. Now we are in "the mixed-up '90's." The 90's are known for taking ideas from past years. So don't be suprised when we are wearing ballgowns just for the shear enjoyment of it!
